The seaside town New Brighton has been revitalised with the £60m regeneration scheme is the largest to date in Wirral and has seen a new cinema, hotel, casino, restaurants and bars plus a supermarket on the seafront – and thousands of visitors.
The new hospital for the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust will cost some £335 million and deliver non-clinical support services that are expected to be worth approximately £100 million over the concession period.
When complete, Wellington Dock will serve around 600,000 Liverpudlians, taking away their sewage and treating it to the highest standards, before returning it to the river.
